Canberra have continued their re-signing spree, confirming Queensland State of Origin forward Josh Papalii will remain at the NRL club until the end of 2018.
Papalii, who went close to leaving the Raiders for Parramatta in 2013, debuted with Canberra as a 19-year-old.
"I've been in Canberra for a while now and its become a home for me so I'm really happy to be staying with the Raiders and continuing my career here," said 23-year-old Papalii.
"The Raiders have helped me become the player I am today and without their support I wouldn't be where I am.
"I think with the right attitude and hard work we can definitely be a very successful team over the next few years and I can't wait to start next season."
Papalii played all 24 matches for the Raiders in 2015 and averaged 98 metres and 29 tackles per game.
He also passed the 100-game milestone and earned a recall to the Maroons Origin squad.
Papalii joins Joey Leilua, Shannon Boyd and Jack Wighton in recently recommitting to Canberra.
